A range of reds, whites and roses which combine finesse and character
Château Montplaisir has declared an environmental approach by obtaining organic certification of its grapes. From 2019, at the end of the conversion period, the whole range of wines of the property is certified ORGANIC. Our caring of the Vines care take much attention to environmental issues. We do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The grapes are hand-picked, sorted, transported to the winery in small boxes, de stemmed and transferred to vats.
The wine making is made by grape variety and by land plot, in order to better identify and preserve the personality of each wine. After maceration for three weeks, Grenache, Syrah and Carignan are pressed and then begins their fermentation cycle when they are transformed into wine. Aging in vats helps soften and round their tannins. Some wines are kept for aging in our demi-muids (600l oak barrels), to enhance their personality.
The Rendez-Vous Terroirs approach guarantees the best reception and tasting conditions for visitors.
